Caramel melts over his tongue –eyelids fluttering as he savors the warm flavor even as he’s slowly unwrapping its mate.
Come afternoon he’s worked through the Skittles in his desk and cuts the top off three Pixie Sticks to spill tangy blue and pink powder straight from the tubes onto his tongue – the candy equivalent of vodka shooters.
As the sugar melts, so sweet and perfect on his tongue – the lingering taste clinging well after the majority has dissolved – he’s left with a great idea. Sugar infused vodka with a candy heart at the bottom of the glass.
