Over 40 Fest?

Okay, so I'm considering starting an open, multi-fandom (including original), fest catering specifically to characters Over 40 and would appreciate *any* input on this. Please comment, hit me up on twitter or PM or whatever. In theory this would be hosted on DW & LJ utilizing AO3 for the my own ease of organizing.

Some Questions:

Would you participate in an Over 40 fest?

Should it include things other than fic? Like what?

Would you prefer Quarterly larger fests or smaller Monthly ones?

Do you know any places I could *advertise* said fest?

Would you be willing to help out with basic modding-type-stuff?

Anything else?

Has Amber lost her fucking mind?

I think this is a really interesting idea but don't know what would work best for organization. I tend to dip my toes into various writing things so a comm might not be the best answer for me. It feels like maybe starting with a ficathon or an exchange would be a great way to get people interested and see how much interest there is and then hopefully it builds up.

*nod* I'm thinking more along the lines of like a Fest similar to how 3 Ships and the like are run where I open prompting for a set period of time and then people can come in and claim a prompt, write a fill, etc. Not quite as structured as an exchange but a little more than a ficathon.

And lots of room to play with.
